Community & Moderation Guidelines

Peace is built by how we treat each other here too. These standards apply to every pledge, message, photo, story, café and project shared through the movement.

1. The spirit of this space

Speak with kindness. Listen before responding. Respect the dignity of every person, including people you disagree with. Share only what is yours to share.

2. What we remove

  • Hate, discrimination, harassment, threats or dehumanising language about any group or individual.
  • Political campaigning, party promotion, electioneering or government-position advocacy.
  • Violence, weapons, graphic imagery or content glorifying harm.
  • Commercial advertising, selling, fundraising appeals or spam.
  • Sexual content, nudity, or anything that sexualises or endangers a child.
  • Copyrighted material you do not own; music, photos, artwork, logos, text or video.
  • Another person's private details, or photos of people who did not consent to appear.

3. How moderation works

Every submission arrives as pending. A trained moderator reviews it against these guidelines before anything becomes public. Approval is a safety decision only. We may decline without giving reasons where safeguarding requires it, and we may remove previously approved content if new information comes to light.

4. Reporting something

If you see content that breaks these guidelines, or that concerns the safety of a child, write to Contact@peacebelongstoall.com with a link and a short description. Child-safety reports are treated as urgent and escalated the same day.

5. Appeals

If your submission was declined and you believe that was a mistake, reply to us and a second moderator will review it. We aim to answer appeals within 14 days.

6. Using our name and emblem

You are welcome to run a Peace Café, project or classroom activity using our toolkits and to say you are participating in Peace Belongs to ALL. You may not present yourself as an official chapter, representative or partner, raise money in the movement's name, or alter the emblem. Please do not imply endorsement by any Rotary entity, school, university or organisation without their written permission.
