1. Who we are and what this platform is
Peace Belongs to ALL ("the movement", "we", "us") is a volunteer-led peace participation initiative. The website is provided free of charge for educational, civic and community purposes. Nothing on this website is sold, and we do not take payments, donations or subscriptions through this site.
The movement is an independent civic initiative. Any reference to Rotary International, Rotaract, Interact, districts, clubs or other organisations is descriptive only and does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement or partnership unless that relationship is separately and explicitly confirmed in writing by the organisation concerned.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be 13 or older to create an account or submit content yourself.
- Children under 13 may participate only through a parent or legal guardian, who must give consent and submit on their behalf.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
- We may suspend or remove any account or submission that breaches these terms, without prior notice where safety requires it.
3. Your content and the licence you give us
You keep ownership of everything you submit; your photo, your seven words, your story, your artwork, your recipe, your project. You grant Peace Belongs to ALL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence to store, moderate, reproduce and publicly display that content on this website and in non-commercial communications about the movement, with attribution as you have chosen (for children, first name and age band only).
This licence exists only so that we can operate and show the movement. We do not sell your content, license it to third parties, or use it in paid advertising. You may withdraw your content at any time by writing to us, and we will remove it from public display within a reasonable period.
4. You warrant that your content is yours to share
- You created the content, or you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.
- Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, moral right, database right or privacy right of any other person.
- Every identifiable person in a photo or recording has consented to appear, and a parent or guardian has consented for any child.
- You will not upload music, images, video, text or artwork copied from the internet, from books, from films, or from any rights-holder without written permission.
- You indemnify the movement against claims arising from content you submitted in breach of these warranties.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
- Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, incitement, threats or glorification of violence.
- Party-political campaigning, electioneering, or content promoting a candidate, party or government position.
- Commercial advertising, solicitation, fundraising or spam.
- Sexual content, nudity, or any material that sexualises or endangers a child.
- Personal data about another person; addresses, phone numbers, school sections, live locations; without their consent.
- Misinformation presented as fact, impersonation, or unlawful content of any kind.
6. Moderation before publication
Nothing you submit appears publicly automatically. Every pledge, photo, seven-word message, story, artwork and project passes human moderation first. We may approve, edit for safety, decline or later remove any submission at our sole discretion. Moderation is a safety process, not an editorial endorsement of your views.
7. Copyright, trademarks and takedown
The emblem, name, campaign lines, original artwork, photography, illustrations, code and the ambient audio on this site are either owned by the movement or used with permission. All site audio is generated originally by this website and contains no third-party recordings, samples or compositions.
If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, write to Contact@peacebelongstoall.com with the URL, a description of the work, proof of your rights and your contact details. We operate a notice-and-takedown process and will remove or restrict genuinely disputed material promptly while we investigate.
8. Peace Cafés, projects and offline activity
Toolkits, formats and project blueprints on this site are offered as guidance only. If you run a café, project or gathering, you do so independently and at your own risk. You are solely responsible for local law, permissions, venue safety, insurance, safeguarding of minors and the conduct of your event. The movement is not an organiser, employer, partner or insurer of your activity, and accepts no liability for it.
9. No professional advice
Content on this site is general information about peacebuilding and community action. It is not legal, medical, psychological, safeguarding or financial advice. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
10. Limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the movement, its volunteers and its stewards are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, from user-submitted content, or from activities organised using our materials. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms as the movement grows; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction, without depriving you of any mandatory protection under the consumer law of your own country of residence.
